Senior Civil Engineering Application Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineering Application Engineer to work with our growing Civil Infrastructure business. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support, training, and application engineering expertise to our customers and sales teams. You will collaborate with internal teams to develop and enhance our civil infrastructure software applications, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our customers.Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support and training to customers on the use of our civil infrastructure software applications- Collaborate with our product development teams to provide feedback and requirements for software enhancements and new features- Assist the sales teams in demonstrating our software capabilities and value proposition to prospective customers- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to civil infrastructure engineering- Participate in the development of technical documentation, user guides, and training materials- Travel to customer sites and industry events as neededRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field- 5+ years of experience in civil engineering or infrastructure design, with a strong background in using engineering software applications- Proficient in the use of Bentley civil infrastructure software products, such as OpenRoads, OpenBridge, and OpenRail- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of audiences- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot software issues- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time to customer sites and industry events- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to civil infrastructure engineering- Experience in providing technical support and training to customers is a plus
