Markets Engineer

Join the Technical Conformity – Product Certification team as the Markets Engineer where you'll will be responsible for undertaking market certification activities for assigned countries (rest of the world) for all Bentley products in support of the Whole Vehicle Type Approval. Additionally, the role will support the system owners and Certification Engineers to achieve compliant designs through their expert theoretical and practical legislation awareness and detailed understanding of assigned market regions. Reporting into the Functional Manager – Market Delivery your main responsibilities include; Plan and ensure that the market homologation activities for your allocated markets deliver certification in a timely manner Total control for the entire homologation process for your allocated markets Summarise complex topics in the homologation process to facilitate Management decisions Act as a key contact person for the delivery of certification for your allocated markets Identify and implement opportunities to enhance and develop the market homologation process at Bentley Act as an interface to the retailers/importers in the market and maintain a market-specific overview of the legislation applicable to those markets Develop type-approval-relevant documentation in close co-operation with Bentley functions
