</div><div>Benjamin Franklin Plumbing — "The Punctual Plumber" — is opening in the greater Madison market, serving Madison, Middleton, Waunakee, Verona, Oregon, and surrounding Dane County communities. We're a locally owned franchise of a 350+ territory location national brand, backed by national-grade systems, training, and marketing, but owned/operated by a Wisconsin owner who lives here.<br><br>
</div><div>We are hiring our founding service team. As one of the first journeyman plumbers on the truck, you'll have the rare combination of a startup's growth runway and a national brand's infrastructure. The right candidates here become tomorrow's lead techs, service managers, and master plumber sponsors.<br><br>

<strong><br>What you'll do<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Diagnose and repair residential plumbing issues: leaks, drains, water heaters, fixtures, sewer lines, gas lines, sump and ejector pumps.<br><br>
</li>
<li>Perform installations and replacements —> water heaters (tank and tankless), repipes, fixture upgrades, water treatment.<br><br>
</li>
<li>Use Straight Forward Pricing on every call; present options and pricing before work begins, so the customer knows what they're getting and what it costs.<br><br>
</li>
<li>Wear floor savers in the home, keep your work area neat, and leave the home as clean as you found it (or cleaner).<br><br>
</li>
<li>Test every aspect of the job before leaving — verify it's actually working — to eliminate avoidable callbacks.<br><br>
</li>
<li>Explain each service performed so the customer understands what was done and why. Aim for 100% customer satisfaction on every job.<br><br>
</li>
<li>Pull permits and complete work to Wisconsin plumbing code (SPS 382/384) under the company's master plumber of record.<br><br>
</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, well-organized van — inside and out — and accurate digital records in ServiceTitan.<br><br>
</li>
<li>Drive safely. Represent the company professionally — uniformed, on-time, courteous, and respectful of customer property.<br><br>
</li>

<strong><br>What you bring<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Wisconsin DSPS Journeyman Plumber license (active, in good standing). Required.<br><br>
</li>
<li>Valid Wisconsin driver's license with an insurable driving record.<br><br>
</li>
<li>3+ years of hands-on plumbing experience; residential service experience strongly preferred.<br><br>
</li>
<li>Comfortable with technology — smartphone, tablet, dispatch software, digital invoicing.<br><br>
</li>
<li>Customer-first mindset. You can explain plumbing to a homeowner without making them feel small.<br><br>
</li>
<li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in tight crawl spaces and attics, and pass a background check. <br><br>
</li>
