Benefits Analyst
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Benefits Analyst, you will serve as a regional benefit advisor, supporting the application and continuous improvement of benefits policies and programs in respective region.
You will be part of the Global Total Rewards team and will partner closely with the wider People and Culture team, Finance, Legal, Procurement as well as our Benefits Brokers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Supports the administration of region’s benefits programs regarding plan options, policy features, enrollment and other requirements.
- Employees queries on Health and Welfare Benefits Administration
- Invoicing reconciliation and submission, and monitoring claims analysis
- Annual Open Enrollment and other benefit events and ensures accurate and timely data in relevant systems
- Reviews Intranet monthly to ensure accuracy of data (benefits information and brochures)
Partners with insurers, brokers, internal teams for the benefits reporting as well as maintain the accuracy of benefits, leave of absence in employee system of record, Workday:
- Assist with plan audit preparations and support needs – vary by region
- Ensures regular reporting is submitted in time and within expected quality. Examples (not limited to) New leavers, joiners, salary changes, absence reporting
- Support Total Rewards Global Compensation and Benefits Global Projects as required
Ad-hoc projects
- Participates in compensation surveys to collect and analyze salary benchmark information to determine company's competitive position
- Support with Total Rewards Global Compensation and Benefits Global Projects as required
- Assist with integration of newly acquired companies into Flexera benefit structure, including retirement plan
Qualifications/Experiences
- 3-4 years of relevant experience with US Benefits Administration (health, welfare and 401(k) retirement) and/or European experience
- 1-2 years of relevant compensation experience (salary benchmarks, job architecture, job levelling and salary structures)
- Experience of working with Workday as well as proficiency working with Microsoft suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Detail orientated and advanced analytics capabilities: demonstrates ability to analyze data, extract insights and make business recommendations
