Comprised of four elementary schools, and our Early Learning Center, we are a small district serving approximately 1600 students. We offer a Dual Immersion Spanish Language program, extensive before and after school opportunities including music, arts and athletics, and we provide substantial support for our students with special needs and students becoming more proficient in English as an additional language. Though small, our enrollment continues to outpace local and state averages so we are looking to grow our team for the upcoming school year. The Program Director of Special Education works closely with the Superintendent and the Educational Services team to ensure a cohesive, districtwide approach to meeting the needs of all students. This role provides leadership and oversight of special education programs, including management of Extensive Needs Classes, and ensures compliance, high-quality instruction, and inclusive practices for students with disabilities. The Program Director collaborates across departments to identify, assess, and provide appropriate education programs and services designed to meet the unique needs of students with exceptional needs.
