Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Behaviour Therapist located in Bengaluru. The Behaviour Therapist will design and implement personalized intervention plans to support children in developing skills for communication, behavior regulation, social interaction, and daily living. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, providing 1:1 therapy sessions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining detailed progress reports. The therapist will also engage with families to ensure skill generalization and offer guidance to caregivers for home-based strategies.
Qualifications
- Knowledge in behavioral principles, child development, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Experience with conducting assessments, behavior intervention plans, and developing individualized therapy goals
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with families, children, and multidisciplinary teams
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to unique developmental needs
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field
- Prior experience working with children with special needs is highly desirable
- Strong organizational and documentation skills to track progress and prepare reports
