Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Behavioral Therapist role located in Thane. The Behavioral Therapist will provide direct ABA-based interventions to children, implement individualized treatment plans, and collect data on behavior and skill acquisition. Responsibilities include conducting behavioral assessments under supervision, delivering one-on-one and small-group therapy sessions, and supporting children in developing communication, social, and daily living skills. The role involves collaborating closely with supervisors, speech and occupational therapists, and other team members to ensure coordinated care. The Behavioral Therapist will also partner with families through caregiver training, regular progress updates, and participation in team meetings to adjust goals and strategies as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavior Analysis, with the ability to implement behavior intervention plans and data-driven strategies.
- Background in Psychology and experience or training in evidence-based behavioral interventions for children.
- Demonstrated Interpersonal Skills, including clear communication, empathy, and the ability to build trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Experience Working With Children in therapeutic, educational, or developmental settings, with a commitment to child-centered, trauma-informed care.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or a related field; advanced certification or ABA credentials are an advantage.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation, follow clinical protocols, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to receive ongoing supervision, participate in training, and stay current with best practices in pediatric behavioral therapy.
- Flexibility to work on-site in Thane and adapt interventions to diverse cultural and family contexts.
