Job details:
eekee AI is building the first proactive, pre-EAP mental-health layer for the modern workplace — a private AI that helps employees build meaning, clarity, and resilience before burnout becomes a crisis.
We're not building another meditation app.
We're not building another reactive support tool.
We’re building the product that sits before all of that — the first line of mental-health engagement inside companies.
Now we’re hiring an in-house behavioral psychologist who can help shape the psychological backbone of Eekee.
About the Role
You will help us build the frameworks that power our AI reflections, micro-sessions, and organize the underlying models to feel more human-like. You’ll work directly with the founders. You will also work with our engineering team, designers, and enterprise partners to make sure Eekee is grounded in real psychological science.
You will be responsible for turning leading psychological theories (logotherapy, self-determination theory, motivational interviewing, organizational psych, burnout prevention, behavioral activation, etc.) into scalable, structured, safe conversational flows that thousands of employees use daily.
What You’ll Do
- Build the psychological models behind our AI reflections and short guided sessions.
- Translate validated frameworks into structured AI-ready modules.
- Review and improve AI conversation quality, tone, accuracy, and safety.
- Help us define our “3-10-session” programs for various psychological factors.
- Partner with enterprise clients, CHROs, and consultants to align on well-being standards.
- Collaborate with engineering/design to operationalize insights into product features.
- Maintain safety, ethics, and compliance standards as we scale.
- Develop scalable mental-health insights for employer dashboards (de-identified).
Qualifications
- A licensed psychologist (behavioral, counseling, organizational, or health psych).
- Masters degree or doctorate
- Comfortable operating in a fast, blunt, founder-led startup environment.
- Strong with structure, frameworks, clarity.
- Able to translate complex theory into simple language without losing accuracy.
- Interested in AI, product building, and scaling mental-health at a level human therapists simply can’t.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI tools, prompts, or structured therapy models.
- Background in workplace mental health or EAP alternatives.
- Interest in logotherapy, existential psychology, and “work as purpose” frameworks.
- Strong writing ability — direct, clear, human.
- Comfort working with engineers and product teams.
Why Join Eekee
- You’ll shape a category-defining product used inside real companies.
- You’ll be foundational in architecting the future of AI-driven mental-health support.
- Your work will impact employees across industries dealing with burnout, stress, and lack of meaning.
- You’ll join a team obsessed with solving the biggest problem in the workplace today:
- People feel lost, disconnected, and burned out — and the old systems don’t help.
- Potential future stock options
- Competitive pay
