Role Description
The Beauty Consultant – Floater Staff is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves supporting multiple retail locations as needed, providing expert guidance on Kimirica’s skincare, bath and body, and wellness products, and ensuring a consistently high standard of customer experience. The consultant will greet and assist customers, conduct personalized product consultations, demonstrate product usage, and recommend tailored self-care routines. Day-to-day responsibilities include achieving sales targets, maintaining product displays and hygiene standards, staying updated on product launches and formulations, and accurately processing transactions. The role also includes gathering customer feedback, supporting in-store events or promotions, and collaborating with store teams and management to uphold Kimirica’s brand values and service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in cosmetology and skin care, with the ability to assess customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Solid product knowledge across fragrances, skincare, bath and body, and wellness ranges, with a willingness to learn about new launches.
- Proven customer service skills, including active listening, empathy, and clear communication in a retail environment.
- Experience in retail sales, including upselling, cross-selling, and working towards individual or store-level targets.
- Ability to work as floater staff across multiple locations, with flexibility in shifts and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
- Prior experience in beauty, skincare, or wellness retail is preferred; certification or training in cosmetology or related fields is an advantage.
- Comfort with basic point-of-sale systems, inventory handling, and adherence to store hygiene and visual merchandising standards.
- Fluency in English and local languages, with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory customer interactions.
