Role Description The Beautician role at L'Oréal Paris is a full-time remote position focused on delivering expert beauty guidance and support to customers through virtual channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting clients on skincare, hair care, and makeup routines, demonstrating product usage via video or digital content, and answering customer questions with professional, brand-aligned advice. The Beautician will provide personalized recommendations, help clients select suitable products, and maintain accurate records of consultations and feedback. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and customer experience teams to share insights, support online events or tutorials, and contribute to educational content. Consistent adherence to brand standards, hygiene best practices, and regulatory guidelines is expected.
Qualifications
- Strong practical knowledge of skincare, hair care, and makeup application, with the ability to tailor recommendations to diverse skin tones, hair types, and personal styles.
- Experience in virtual or in-person client consultations, including active listening, needs assessment, and clear, empathetic communication.
- Comfort using digital tools and platforms for video calls, chat, and content sharing, with basic familiarity with online customer service practices.
- Attention to detail, professionalism, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards in all beauty-related guidance.
- Relevant certification or training in cosmetology, esthetics, or a related beauty discipline; previous experience in a salon, spa, retail beauty, or brand advisory role is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams when needed.
- Interest in L'Oréal Paris products and trends, and willingness to stay updated on new launches, techniques, and industry developments.
