About the role
We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our talented IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for desktop computers, laptops, and other end-user devices. You will work closely with our end-users to ensure their technology needs are met and that all issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner. Key responsibilities include:- Providing first-level desktop support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues- Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving various computer problems and support requests- Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop computers, laptops, and other peripheral devices- Assisting with the deployment and maintenance of software applications- Documenting all support activities and maintaining accurate records- Providing training and guidance to end-users on the use of various software and hardware- Collaborating with the IT team to ensure seamless technology operations across the organization- Adhering to established IT policies, procedures, and best practices- Maintaining a high level of customer service and responsiveness to end-user needs
