This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a BDM - MSP Specialist in India.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving business development within Managed Service Provider (MSP) accounts while managing client relationships and expanding new business opportunities in a highly competitive staffing environment. You will act as a key link between senior sales leadership, clients, and MSP partners to identify growth areas and convert opportunities into long-term business. The role requires strong commercial acumen, proactive outreach capabilities, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, target-driven setting. You will engage with stakeholders across multiple channels, including calls, emails, and social platforms, to generate leads and schedule high-value meetings. This position also involves supporting deal closure, managing client onboarding, and ensuring smooth service delivery. It is ideal for a results-oriented professional comfortable working in a remote, US-shift (PST) aligned environment.
Accountabilities
- Develop and manage relationships with MSP accounts while identifying and generating new business opportunities within the staffing ecosystem
- Collaborate with senior sales executives to identify market opportunities and support client acquisition strategies
- Conduct proactive outreach through calls, emails, and social media channels to generate leads and schedule client meetings
- Support sales presentations, pitches, and negotiations to help close deals and achieve revenue targets
- Maintain accurate sales activity tracking using CRM systems, including calls, meetings, and pipeline updates
- Provide ongoing client support by responding to requests, resolving issues, and ensuring service satisfaction
- Assist in client onboarding and account management to ensure smooth transition and engagement
- Manage vendor relationships, including staffing agencies, while ensuring compliance and contract adherence
- Monitor staffing costs and contribute to cost optimization and vendor rate management
- Use data-driven insights to improve sales performance, staffing efficiency, and decision-making
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in business development or sales, specifically within MSP accounts or staffing industry environments
- Strong experience in managing client relationships and generating new business from MSP ecosystems
- Proven ability to work with CRM systems and track end-to-end sales activities effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with confidence in client-facing interactions and presentations
- Strong understanding of staffing operations including vendor management, compliance, and cost control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a strong focus on results and quotas
- Experience in lead generation through multiple channels including calls, email, and social media platforms
- Analytical mindset with exposure to data-driven decision-making and performance tracking
- Comfortable working in PST time zone (night shift) in a remote setup based in India
- Highly proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn and take ownership of new initiatives
