Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across FinTech, financial services, investment firms, wealth management, research, and SaaS segments.
- Generate, qualify, and manage leads through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, partnerships, and inbound channels.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and manage opportunities from first contact through negotiation and closure.
- Conduct product presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts for prospective customers.
- Understand customer requirements and position StockPrompt.ai's AI capabilities and solutions to address their business needs.
- Develop proposals, commercial presentations, and customized pitches for prospects.
- Negotiate commercial terms and work towards achieving revenue and customer acquisition targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers throughout the sales and onboarding lifecycle.
Market & Customer Development
- Research the Indian and global fintech, AI, investment, and capital-market technology landscape.
- Identify high-potential customer segments, use cases, industries, and emerging market opportunities.
- Monitor competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Gather customer feedback and translate market requirements into actionable insights for the product and leadership teams.
- Identify potential partnerships and strategic business opportunities that can accelerate StockPrompt.ai's growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product, marketing, engineering, and leadership teams to refine product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns, customer case studies, sales collateral, and lead-generation initiatives.
- Communicate customer requirements and market feedback to the product and technology teams.
- Support customer onboarding and ensure a smooth transition from sales to account management.
Performance & Reporting
- Track and report key business development metrics including leads, qualified opportunities, conversion rates, pipeline value, revenue, and customer acquisition.
- Maintain accurate CRM and sales pipeline information.
- Prepare regular business development reports and insights for leadership.
- Continuously experiment with new approaches to improve lead generation, conversion, and sales efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- 5 - 8 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or a related role.
- Proven ability to generate leads, develop relationships, and drive opportunities toward closure.
- Strong interest or experience in FinTech, financial services, stock markets, AI, SaaS, or technology products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial, technical, and AI concepts in simple business terms.
- Strong client relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to conduct market research, understand customer needs, and identify commercially attractive opportunities.
- Comfortable conducting product demos, sales presentations, and business pitches.
- Experience working with CRM and sales tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a data-driven approach to sales.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Finance/FinTech certifications or knowledge of capital markets will be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and operate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
