Job Brief
Are you passionate about live events, artist bookings, and closing deals? Do you enjoy building relationships and turning opportunities into successful shows?
Our client is looking for an energetic and driven Booking & Sales Manager to lead their live show bookings across clubs, corporate events, colleges, and festivals. In this role, you will be the driving force behind their event calendar, helping them secure exciting performance opportunities and grow their presence across India.

Responsibilities
Show Booking & Sales
- Manage the complete show booking process from first contact to signed agreement and deposit collection.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential venues, agencies, colleges, and corporate clients.
- Keep a detailed and updated CRM with contact details, deal stages, follow-up dates, and booking status.
- Generate new business through emails, phone calls, WhatsApp outreach, and networking.
Venue & Event Partnerships
- Work with clubs, venues, event organisers, and festival programmers across major cities.
- Reach out to corporate event agencies and HR teams to secure corporate performance opportunities.
- Connect with college cultural committees and student organisers ahead of festival seasons.
- Develop long-term relationships with key industry contacts.
Negotiation & Coordination
- Negotiate show fees within approved pricing guidelines.
- Coordinate contracts, technical requirements, and booking documentation.
- Ensure deposits are collected before confirming shows.
- Support efficient tour planning by grouping nearby cities and reducing travel costs.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Share weekly updates on confirmed, active, stalled, and lost opportunities.
- Track show fees and help improve revenue performance over time.
- Maintain visibility of all active opportunities and future bookings.
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Event Sales, Artist Booking, Talent Management, Event Management, or B2B Sales.
- Proven ability to close deals and manage negotiations independently.
- Comfortable making cold calls, sending outreach messages, and building new business relationships.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent follow-up and organizational abilities.
- Experience using CRM tools or maintaining structured sales pipelines.
- Existing contacts within venues, corporate events, entertainment agencies, or college festival networks will be a strong advantage.
- Ability to work independently and achieve monthly sales targets.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Secure a minimum of 3 new confirmed shows every month.
- Maintain 10–15 active prospects in the sales pipeline at all times.
- Reach out to 20+ new contacts every week.
- Continuously improve average show fees and booking value.
- Achieve 100% deposit collection before show confirmations are issued.
Success in the First 90 Days
First 30 Days
- Build and organize a CRM with 50+ venue and agency contacts.
- Launch outreach campaigns across multiple booking categories.
- Have at least one confirmed show or a deal in final negotiation.
- Map upcoming college festival opportunities.
First 60 Days
- Confirm and collect deposits for at least 4 shows.
- Build an active corporate events pipeline.
- Create a draft tour route for the next three months.
- Establish a structured outreach and follow-up process.
First 90 Days
- Confirm 8+ shows across clubs, corporate events, and colleges.
- Maintain a reliable weekly pipeline reporting system.
- Improve average booking fees through effective negotiations.
- Build a strong pipeline for upcoming college festival seasons.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive monthly salary of ₹30,000 – ₹50,000
- 3% to 5% commission on every show closed
