We specialize in IT contract staffing, C2C placements, and building long-term vendor partnerships with MNCs, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), and product-based organizations. We are now expanding our enterprise client base and seeking a driven Business Development Manager on a consultant basis to spearhead this growth.
Job Description:
This is not a conventional sales role. We are looking for a BDM with an established enterprise network who can directly walk in relationships, negotiate vendor empanelment, and close Master Service Agreements (MSAs). If you have a portfolio of enterprise contacts and know how to convert them into revenue-generating staffing mandates, this role is designed for you.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Pipeline Development
• Identify and engage with large MNCs, GCCs, and product-based companies as target enterprise clients
• Build and maintain 5-10 qualified enterprise connects per week
• Maintain 2-3 serious, active client discussions at any given time
• Own the full client lifecycle from prospect identification to successful vendor empanelment
Stakeholder Engagement & Deal Closure
• Map key stakeholders across HR, Procurement, and Vendor Management functions
• Pitch Lakshya's staffing capabilities and value proposition effectively
• Drive commercial discussions and negotiate terms aligned with company margins
• Close a minimum of 2 MSA/empanelment agreements per month
Commercial Governance
• Ensure all pricing commitments are internally approved before finalization
• Prioritize MSA-first engagements — no hiring activity commences without a signed agreement
• Ensure clients meet the volume threshold of 30+ active requirements per month
• Maintain margin discipline — no deals below internal margin thresholds
Target Client Experience
• Proven track record in opening enterprise accounts — MNCs, GCCs, or product-based tech firms
• Existing relationships with HR, Procurement, or Vendor Management stakeholders
• Experience closing staffing MSAs or vendor empanelment agreements
Skills & Attributes
• Strong understanding of IT staffing — especially C2C / contract staffing models
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Self-driven with a hunter mentality — capable of working independently
• High accountability: able to own outcomes, not just activities
• Clear communicator with professional stakeholder management ability
