Role Description This full-time, on-site Business Development Manager (BDM) role is based in Itanagar Tehsil. The BDM will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and manage a sales pipeline, and develop strong relationships with prospective and existing clients. Daily activities include researching target markets, qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, and preparing proposals and quotations for DEONICS’s IT services and solutions. The role involves collaborating closely with technical and delivery teams to understand service capabilities, tailoring offerings to client needs, and ensuring a smooth handover from sales to implementation. The BDM will track performance metrics, maintain accurate records in CRM tools, and contribute to sales forecasting, market insights, and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in business development, B2B sales, lead generation, and account management within IT or technology services.
- Strong client relationship management, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with a consultative selling approach.
- Understanding of software development, web and app solutions, cloud services, and IT infrastructure sufficient to explain value to clients.
- Excellent communication, proposal writing, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to analyze market trends, segment opportunities, and develop go-to-market strategies and sales plans.
- Comfort working with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and basic MS Office or similar productivity software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented mindset, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Prior experience in IT consulting, system integration, or managed services sales is highly desirable.
