Primary Title: Business Development Executive
Industry & Sector: Fast-growing technology-enabled talent marketplace and professional services company serving enterprise clients across industries. We deliver staffing, freelance solutions, and managed services through on-ground sales and client partnerships across India.
Location & Compensation: India (On-site) — Compensation up to 7,55,000 per month (upto 55,000/month) including incentives; role requires regular client visits and field engagement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify new B2B clients across assigned territories through cold outreach, referrals, and field visits to build a predictable sales pipeline.
- Manage and update all lead, contact, and opportunity information in the CRM to ensure pipeline accuracy and timely follow-ups.
- Conduct on-site client meetings, present service offerings, understand hiring/project requirements, and prepare tailored proposals.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals while ensuring handover to delivery/operations for seamless onboarding.
- Collaborate with internal teams (recruitment, operations, finance) to track delivery timelines, resolve client issues, and maximize account retention.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets; report progress and market feedback to drive territory strategy and product improvements.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven experience in B2B business development or sales (field/on-site sales preferred).
- Strong CRM usage: Salesforce, HubSpot CRM, or Zoho CRM for pipeline management.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and MS Excel for lead research and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability in cold calling, B2B lead generation, and deal closing.
- Comfortable with regular travel and face-to-face client engagements across assigned regions.
- Fluent in English and a major regional language (spoken and written) to engage clients locally.
Preferred
- Experience selling staffing, freelance talent solutions, or professional services to mid-market and enterprise clients.
- Familiarity with proposal writing and commercial negotiation for service contracts.
- Track record of meeting quota in a commission-driven sales environment.
