Industry: EdTech — a high-growth online learning and upskilling sector delivering instructor-led programs, career services, and SaaS-enabled learning journeys to learners and enterprises across India. Primary title:
Business Development Executive (EdTech) — remote role focused on accelerating revenue by sourcing, qualifying, and converting institutional and individual learners.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own outbound prospecting to identify and engage high-potential leads across schools, colleges, corporates, and individual learners using multi-channel outreach.
- Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities, run consultative discovery calls, and build tailored proposals to align solutions with customer needs.
- Manage and grow a healthy sales pipeline in the CRM; update activity logs, opportunity stages, and forecast accurately.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to optimise messaging, campaigns, and pilot programs that drive conversion.
- Negotiate commercial terms, close deals, and hand off onboarding to customer success with clear implementation requirements.
- Track performance against targets, iterate on outreach cadences, and contribute to playbooks to improve conversion rates.
