About the Role:
We are looking for a Business Development & Sales Executive to drive revenue growth for our FinCrest team. This role focuses on acquiring and managing clients for financial technology offerings such as business automation, CFO Services, financial services, compliance services.
You will engage with founders, CXOs, finance heads, and decision-makers, understand their financial and operational challenges, and recommend tailored solutions. The role demands a strong consultative sales approach, industry awareness, and ownership of end-to-end sales outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Lead Generation:
- Identify and target potential clients including startups, SMEs, enterprises, CA firms, and finance-led businesses requiring our solutions.
- Execute structured prospecting strategies using LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, inbound leads, partnerships, referrals, and industry events.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline across defined industry segments.
Consultative FinTech Selling:
- Understand client pain points related to cash flow, compliance, reporting, lending, financial visibility, automation, or scalability.
- Present and sell customized financial solutions such as:
- Payment & collections platforms
- Finance & accounting automation tools
- ERP / SaaS finance products
- Lending, credit, or cash-flow management solutions
- Compliance, reporting, or analytics tools
- Provide solution-led recommendations backed by financial insights, business metrics, and industry best practices.
Relationship Management & Account Growth:
- Build long-term relationships with clients through regular engagement and solution reviews.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by identifying upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
End-to-End Sales Cycle Ownership:
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle including:
- Lead qualification
- Requirement discovery
- Product demos & solution presentations
- Proposal creation & pricing discussions
- Negotiation and closure
- Coordinate with internal product, finance, tech, and onboarding teams to ensure smooth deal execution.
- Maintain accurate CRM records for leads, deals, pipelines, and closures.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with product, technology, onboarding, support, and marketing teams to align client requirements with solution capabilities.
- Ensure offerings are positioned clearly in terms of ROI, efficiency gains, compliance benefits, and business impact.
Revenue Targets & Performance Ownership:
- Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.
- Take ownership of individual and team-level growth metrics.
- Contribute actively to overall business growth and market expansion.
Reporting & Forecasting:
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, pipeline forecasts, and revenue projections.
- Highlight risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations to leadership.
Continuous Learning & Compliance:
- Stay updated through FinTech webinars, industry events, certifications, and product training sessions.
- Follow ethical sales practices, data privacy standards, and regulatory compliance norms at all times.
Specification:
Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
Experience: 2–3 years of experience in B2B/B2C sales, preferably in FinTech, SaaS, financial services, banking, NBFCs, or technology-driven businesses
Experience with financial products, digital platforms, or solution selling is a strong advantage.
