About SkinBae
SkinBae is building a curated Korean skincare platform in India. We work closely with global Korean beauty brands and focus on education-led storytelling, strong visual identity, and long-term brand building across D2C, marketplaces, and offline retail.
We are scaling rapidly across marketplaces, and this role will directly influence how brands grow across Amazon, Nykaa, TIRA, Myntra, quick commerce, and future channels.
Role Overview
This is a revenue ownership role focused on driving marketplace growth, profitability, and brand scale.
You will own platform growth strategy, revenue performance, marketplace expansion, and brand scaling across a portfolio of Korean beauty brands.
You will work closely with listings, operations, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure strategy translates into measurable business growth.
What You Will Own
1. Marketplace P&L & Revenue Ownership
- Own GMV, revenue, and contribution margins across marketplaces
- Drive monthly and quarterly growth targets
- Balance growth and profitability through commercial decisions
- Monitor overall business health across platforms
2. Platform-Wise Growth Strategy
- Build marketplace-specific growth strategies:
- Amazon → scale and performance
- Nykaa → visibility and brand growth
- TIRA → premium positioning
- Myntra → category expansion
- Identify growth opportunities and platform gaps
- Improve category ranking and visibility
3. Brand Scaling & Portfolio Strategy
- Prioritize brands based on market opportunity and performance
- Build scale-up plans for hero brands
- Launch new brands with strong GTM strategy
- Drive platform expansion for existing brands
4. Commercial Strategy & Negotiation
- Lead discussions around:
- Margins
- Platform commissions
- Marketing spends
- Visibility investments
- Ensure ROI-driven spending decisions
- Improve commercial terms as business scales
5. Demand Creation & Visibility Planning
- Plan marketplace campaigns and sale participation
- Improve visibility through banners, ranking, and promotions
- Align marketing spends with conversion and revenue outcomes
- Coordinate growth initiatives with internal teams
6. Data & Performance Analytics
- Track:
- GMV growth
- Conversion rates
- Platform-wise sales
- ROI on spends
- Discount dependency
- Use insights to improve:
- Pricing
- Margins
- SKU performance
- Revenue contribution
7. New Channel Expansion
- Identify and onboard new marketplaces
- Explore quick commerce channels:
- Blinkit
- Zepto
- Instamart
- Build diversified revenue streams across channels
8. Cross-Functional Execution Ownership
- Coordinate with:
- Listings team
- Operations team
- Marketing & influencer teams
- Finance and leadership
- Ensure strategy execution aligns with revenue goals
- Maintain inventory readiness during campaigns and launches

Technical Exposure
- Amazon, Nykaa, Myntra, TIRA ecosystems

- Excel / Google Sheets (advanced level)
- Understanding of marketplace ads and performance metrics
