Job Summary

The BD Director will play a pivotal role in driving business development initiatives within the Private Equity and Hedge Fund domain. With expertise in MS Excel Excel Macro/VBA and fund accounting the candidate will contribute to strategic growth client engagement and operational excellence. This hybrid role requires strong analytical and communication skills to deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the companys presence in the Private Equity and Hedge Fund sectors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with organizational goals.
• Provide expert insights into Private Equity Fund Accounting and Hedge Fund Accounting to enhance client solutions and services.
• Utilize advanced MS Excel and Excel Macro/VBA skills to analyze complex financial data and create efficient reporting tools.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Conduct market research to identify trends opportunities and competitive insights within the financial services industry.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of proposals ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
• Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency and streamline processes within the business development function.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that address client challenges and enhance service delivery.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in all business development activities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate expertise in MS Excel including advanced functions formulas and data analysis capabilities.
• Showcase proficiency in Excel Macro/VBA for automating processes and enhancing efficiency.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of Private Equity Fund Accounting and Hedge Fund Accounting principles and practices.
• Exhibit strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Display excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken for effective client and team interactions.
• Bring a proven track record of 17 to 20 years of experience in business development within the financial services domain.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office responsibilities.
• Show commitment to delivering high-quality results that align with organizational objectives and client expectations.
• Possess the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
