BCS Allegient is currently hiring for a TechSolutions Technical Specialist to support a team in Arlington, VA.

Job Function:
- Develop validation methods to quantify value and maturity of new technology requests
- Collaborate with ONR Program Officers, SMEs, Science Advisors, and developers to assess technology state
- Schedule and conduct stakeholder meetings within 5 business days to validate operational needs
- Perform rapid technical analysis to determine availability or need for development
- Quantify technology maturity across commercial and government providers
- Conduct technical inquiries to identify existing or ongoing research aligned to needs
- Analyze proposals/whitepapers and quantify research validity
- Coordinate stakeholder evaluations and document inputs in TechSolutions portal
- Distribute proposals/whitepapers to evaluators within 1 business day of solicitation closure
- Publish and maintain TechSolutions blog summaries and weekly project updates
- Review project reports for deficiencies and coordinate with Principal Investigators
- Ensure reports are accurate, current, and properly posted to shared systems
- Collect, validate, and distribute monthly technical reports
- Coordinate outreach plans/events and document engagement outcomes for leadership
- Align TechSolutions portfolio with Navy and Marine Corps strategic priorities
- Represent TechSolutions at portfolio reviews and technical exchange sessions
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in civil, mechanical, material, or industrial engineering or a closely related technical field in engineering and physical sciences; and, 7+ years of experience in DoD science and technology development.
- Documented qualification as having served in one of the following capacities: US Navy Surface Warfare Officer, US Navy Submarine Officer, Pilot in Command of a US Navy or Marine Corps Tactical Aircraft.
- Individual must possess a SECRET US Government security at time of contract award.
Desired Qualifications:
- Communication skills to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders including ONR Program Officers, ONRG Science Advisors, warfighters, acquisition sponsors in program offices, transition sponsors in OPNAV or TYCOMs, and engineers and scientists in the NR&DE.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Department of the Navy Acquisition Program Office or Systems Command facilitating collaboration on S&T issues between US Navy Stakeholders (OPNAV, PEO/PM and Fleet Forces).
- Working knowledge of the Naval Research and Development Establishment (NR&DE)community - Naval Warfare Centers, SYSCOMS, Labs, and University Affiliated Research Centers (UARC’s).
