BBC News is looking for an experienced producer to join our team in India. As a Producer, you will be responsible for: - Identifying, researching and pitching story ideas for news, features and current affairs programmes - Managing teams of journalists to produce high-quality content for TV, radio and digital platforms - Ensuring all content meets the BBC's editorial guidelines and style - Working closely with the editorial and production teams to deliver engaging and impactful stories - Collaborating with colleagues across the BBC's international bureaus to share content and resources To be successful in this role, you will need: - Significant experience as a producer in a fast-paced news environment - Excellent journalistic and editorial skills, with a strong grasp of current affairs - Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate complex projects - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - A deep understanding of the Indian media landscape and audience - Fluency in English and preferably one or more Indian languages - A commitment to the BBC's values of accuracy, impartiality and serving the public interest
