Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Director of Golf, the position assists and supervises in all phases of the golf operations. The position is responsible to supervise and manage total golf operations in the absence of the Director of Golf. All duties of the position shall be performed, with a commitment to the highest level of customer service and total satisfaction of all customers.
Employees wishing to transfer to golf course positions will be able to maintain health benefits and anniversary date for leave accruals. However, employees will not be allowed to use vacation time during summer months. At the end of the golf season, employees will be allowed to transfer to other positions, based on availability, or be placed on lay-off. To maintain benefit eligibility, employee must return to full time regular employment at the end of the season.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Provides exemplary customer service by "Exceeding Expectations One Opportunity at a Time".
2. Supervises the outside service staff to ensure the highest quality of customer service is achieved.
3. Assist the Director of Golf in all facets of golf cart fleet management.
4. Assist the Director of Golf in golf cart GPS management and upkeep.
5. Assist in all facets of golf simulator operations
6. Provide club fitting services to patrons.
7. Manage and maintain all golf club rental sets.
8. Performs and/or supervises all duties of the Pro Shop Sales, as deemed necessary (see WB Pro Shop Sales Position Description).
9. Performs and/or supervises all duties of the Cart Attendant, as deemed necessary ??ee Cart Attendant Position Description). I
10. Performs and/or supervises all duties of the Starter Shack, as deemed necessary (see Starter Shack Position Description).
11. Performs and/or supervises all duties of the WB F&B, as deemed necessary (see WB F&B Position Description).
12. Assists in all duties of the WB Retail Supervisor, as deemed necessary (See WB Retail Supervisor Position)
13. Responsible for supervising pro-shop sales including daily golf fees, season passes, merchandise, and golf services.
14. Responsible for performing staff training as deemed necessary by the Director of Golf.
15. Responsible for excellent communication skills with pro shop co-workers and all golf course, restaurant and resort personnel.
16.Responsible for monitoring and controlling the pace of play on the golf course.
17.Responsible for preparation, and assist in operation of golf leagues, tournaments and outings.
18.Responsible for learning and following the daily policies and procedures for Wild Bluff Golf Course and Bay Mills Resort & Casinos.
19.Must attend all mandatory trainings designated by the Human Resources Department and/or Department Directing.
20.Other duties may be assigned within the scope and complexity of this position's essential functions.
Requirements
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and stand. Occasionally the employee must squat, push/pull, and crouch with frequent bending. The employee is occasionally required to use hands for firm manipulation and reach with hands and arms above shoulder level. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly exposed to marked changes in temperature and humidity and moving machinery, moderate noise, heat, smoke and hot surfaces involved in cooking food, grease and dirty surfaces, use of caustic chemicals. The employee may experience cuts, burns, sprains and strains.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1.Must have good knowledge on the game of golf.
2Must have at least 3 years experience in a similar position.
3.Must have cash handling experience.
4.Must have point of sale computer experience, general computer knowledge desired.
5.Must possess a friendly, out-going, and cooperative personality.
6.Must have a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
7.Must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
8.Must be able to take direction well.
9.Must work well with fellow employees.
10.Must be able to train fellow employees
11.To perform this position successfully and individual must be able to perform each function listed under the essential functions and physical demands categories of this position description.
12.Must have an excellent past work record, including attendance.
