Position Overview

As a Unity Developer at BattleBucks, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality 2D and 3D mobile games. You will leverage your expertise in Unity and C# to create engaging and performant multiplayer experiences. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to bring game concepts to life and ensure the delivery of exceptional player experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality 2D and 3D mobile games using the Unity engine.
• Implement game mechanics, user interfaces, and gameplay features.
• Develop and optimize game assets and environments.
• Implement and optimize multiplayer functionalities, including networking, matchmaking, and real-time interactions.
• Ensure seamless connectivity and performance in multiplayer game modes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve multiplayer-related issues.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable C# code following best practices and coding standards.
• Design and implement robust game architectures and systems.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Work closely with game designers, artists, and other developers to bring game concepts to life.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project planning.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
• Optimize games for performance and scalability across various mobile platforms.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and memory issues.
• Implement efficient rendering and resource management techniques.
• Identify and fix bugs, and ensure the smooth operation of games.
• Conduct thorough testing and implement quality assurance measures.

Qualifications

Experience :

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Unity development.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying mobile games.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Unity engine and C# programming.
• Extensive experience in developing and deploying multiplayer games.
• Strong skills in both 2D and 3D game development.
• Solid understanding of game physics, particle systems, and animation.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Experience with mobile game optimization.
