Battery Engineer (1–3 Years Experience)
📍 Location: Gurgaon (On-site)
At Blinq Mobility, we're building the future of electric mobility through battery-swapping technology. Our mission is to eliminate charging downtime by enabling battery swaps in under three minutes, making electric mobility more practical, scalable, and cost-effective for commercial fleets.

What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and validate lithium-ion battery packs using Prismatic cells.
- Own battery pack development from cell selection through concept design, prototyping, testing, validation, and production.
- Develop battery pack architecture, mechanical integration, and manufacturing-ready designs.
- Plan and execute battery validation tests, analyze results, and drive design improvements.
- Work closely with mechanical, electrical, embedded, and manufacturing teams to deliver production-ready battery systems.
- Prepare engineering documentation including BOMs, manufacturing drawings, technical specifications, and test reports.
- Coordinate with suppliers for component selection, qualification, and production readiness.
- Support debugging, root-cause analysis, and continuous product improvements during development and production.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in lithium-ion battery pack development.
- Hands-on experience with prismatic cells is mandatory.
- Experience taking battery systems from prototype to production.
- Strong understanding of battery pack architecture, cell integration, thermal management, and battery safety.
- Familiarity with battery testing, validation, manufacturing processes, and relevant industry standards.
- Experience with battery simulation, DFMEA, or DFM is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving ability, ownership mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
