BathWise, is seeking energetic Field Marketing Associates to explain our products and services to homeowners at stores and events throughout the area. Whether you are looking to move away from solar, fast food, or long retail hours, we encourage all to apply! Field Marketing Associates travel to and from locations such as Big Box Retailers and Home Improvement Shows with setting up items, so reliable transportation is required. This role requires about 10 - 28 hours per week in a part-time capacity with the potential to go full-time in the future.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Increase brand awareness and sales through event marketing, demonstrations, and promoting BathWise’s brand
- Represent the BathWise brand at in-store events and home shows including planning and coordination, generating leads, and scheduling appointments
- Engage with prospective and existing customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Act as a subject matter expert for customers by answering questions about our products and services while showcasing BathWise’s value and expertise
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to educate customers on all BathWise’s service and product offerings
- Obtain complete information from clients for the purpose of scheduling appointments
- Provide additional marketing support by calling inbound/outbound leads and other various marketing-related tasks
- Other duties may include supporting additional markets, assist in training new team members, track and report on event results
Skills & Qualifications:
- 1 year of customer service experience required, (retail sales experience is preferred)
- Industry experience is preferred but not required
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel with large, branded items
- An outgoing, friendly personality, and the ability to drive a conversation
- Ability to follow a proven process to generate sales appointments
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Evening and weekend availability
Physical Requirements
A Field Marketing Associate must be physically capable of performing duties in active, outdoor, and event-based environments. The role often involves long hours, variable conditions, and manual tasks associated with event setup and promotion.
1. Standing and Walking
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (often 6–10 hours per day)
- Frequent movement across large event sites, uneven terrain, or outdoor fields
2. Lifting and Carrying
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials such as:
- Promotional displays
- Tents, banners, signage
- Boxes of merchandise or marketing materials
- Typical lifting requirement: up to 25–50 lbs (11–23 kg), with or without assistance
3. Manual Dexterity
- Capability to handle small promotional items, assemble displays, and operate basic equipment
- Repetitive hand and arm movements during setup, breakdown, and engagement activities
4. Bending, Reaching, and Stooping
- Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching to set up booths, adjust equipment, or interact with attendees
- Ability to reach overhead and work at ground level
5. Stamina and Endurance
- Sufficient physical endurance to work long shifts, often on consecutive days
- Ability to maintain energy and engagement throughout high-traffic events
6. Environmental Tolerance
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including:
- Heat, cold, rain, wind, and sun exposure
- Tolerance for dust, noise, crowds, and outdoor lighting conditions
7. Visual and Auditory Abilities
- Adequate vision (with or without corrective lenses) to:
- Read schedules, signage, and promotional materials
- Observe crowd flow and safety concerns
- Adequate hearing to communicate with staff and attendees in noisy environments
8. Mobility and Balance
- Ability to navigate crowded areas safely
- Maintain balance on uneven ground, stages, or temporary flooring
9. Communication While Active
- Ability to speak clearly and project voice while walking, standing, or working in loud environments
- Capability to engage with large groups while remaining physically active
