High school diploma or GED; current Texas Paramedic certification; valid Class C Texas driver's license; 1+ year paramedic experience in primary 911 or equivalent; 3+ years EMS experience at EMT level or higher; must complete provisional credentialing within 2 weeks and full clinical credentialing within 3 months; pass suitability exam, drug/alcohol testing, background investigation; no felony or certain misdemeanor convictions; no illegal drug use in past 10 years.
