Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Bartending Skills:
- Prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and other drinks.
- Ensure drink recipes and portion controls are consistently followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area in compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
- Customer Service:
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent service at all times.
- Offer recommendations to guests based on their preferences and ensure a memorable bar experience.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns related to the bar with tact and professionalism.
- Communication:
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to engage with guests and staff effectively.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders.
- Be attentive and respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Inventory and Stock Management:
- Monitor and manage bar inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of ingredients and supplies.
- Conduct routine checks and place orders to restock as needed.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Event and Special Occasions:
- Assist in preparing drinks for special events and promotions organized by the establishment.
- Contribute ideas for new cocktails or seasonal drink menus to enhance guest experiences.
- Bar Equipment and Maintenance:
- Operate and maintain bar equipment efficiently, including mixers, blenders, and other tools.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained for smooth operations.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Follow all local and state regulations regarding alcohol service, age restrictions, and safety protocols.
- Adhere to the company’s policies on responsible alcohol consumption and guest safety.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a bartender.
- Proven experience in making a variety of cocktails and other drinks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
