Job Title: Barista
Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Barista to prepare and serve high-quality beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. The ideal candidate should ensure excellent customer service, maintain hygiene standards, and create a welcoming caf experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, and tea
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment efficiently
- Take customer orders and handle billing/POS transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and seating area
- Ensure proper presentation and quality of all beverages and food items
- Recommend menu items and upsell products to customers
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally
- Refill stock and manage inventory of supplies
Skills Requirements
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques (preferred)
- Customer service-oriented attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Basic math skills for billing and cash handling
Qualification
- Minimum: 10th / 12th Pass
- Hospitality or Barista training certification (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience
- Freshers can apply
- 02 years of experience in caf, QSR, or hospitality industry preferred
Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts (including weekends and holidays)
- Standing for long hours
