Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Barista in a modern Italian cafe called Piccolo Forno (refer piccoloforno.in on Instagram), located in Udaipur, Rajasthan starting in April, 2026. The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of speciality coffees, cold brews, matchas, shakes and smoothies, ensuring high-quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include taking customer orders, crafting specialty drinks, maintaining cleanliness of workstations, and restocking supplies. The role also involves providing excellent customer service by engaging with customers, addressing their needs, and fostering a welcoming environment.
Qualifications
- Skills in beverage preparation, including Barista expertise and knowledge of beverage preparation techniques.
- Additional skillset or previous experience in mixology/bartending is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional Customer Service and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent Communication skills to interact professionally and warmly with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, is preferred.
- Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus.
- Previous certifications or courses in coffee training is a plus.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is desirable but not required.
