Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role located at The Chocolate Room in Gandhidham. The Barista will prepare and serve a variety of coffee, chocolate beverages, and café items, following established recipes and quality standards. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, handling billing, and ensuring a welcoming and efficient service experience. The role involves maintaining cleanliness of the service area and equipment, restocking supplies, and following food safety and hygiene guidelines. The Barista will work closely with team members to support smooth café operations and uphold The Chocolate Room’s customer service and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service, Interpersonal Skills, and Communication.
- Barista skills, with experience in preparing coffee and chocolate-based beverages, and operating café equipment.
- Basic Food Preparation skills, with an understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple orders efficiently.
- Prior experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting is an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Minimum educational qualification of high school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.
