Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based in Pune City. The Barista will prepare and serve specialty coffee and espresso-based beverages according to company recipes and standards. Responsibilities include operating coffee equipment, handling basic food preparation for baked items, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and following safety and hygiene guidelines. The Barista will greet guests, take orders, process payments, and provide friendly, attentive customer service. The role also involves restocking supplies, supporting café opening and closing procedures, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for guests and team members.
Qualifications
- Barista skills, including coffee brewing, espresso preparation, and basic latte art
- Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage guests positively and manage interactions professionally
- Strong Communication skills for clear order taking and effective coordination with team members
- Food Preparation skills for handling baked items and simple café food offerings
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks safely
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and quality standards
- Prior café, hospitality, or retail experience is an advantage but not mandatory
- Willingness to learn, adapt to a startup environment, and grow with the company
