Operations analyst

Join us as Operations analyst At Barclays. The role holder as part of the Investment management team, will collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand investment reporting requirements. Responsibilities often include gathering investment data, generating customised reports and presenting insights to clients. Additionally responsible for maintaining accurate fund accounts ,reconciling discrepancies and implementing improvement to reporting processes Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications: A relevant degree in finance, accounting, business or a related field. Professional certification such as CFA, CA, or MBA in Finance. Proficiency in investment accounting, financial assets reporting and a strong understanding of relevant regulations and compliance standards. Strong analytical and quantitative skills to analyse financial data to prepare various customise reports as per client requirements. High level of accuracy and attentions to detail, ensuring precise and error free reporting. Proven ability to identify and solve complex problems related to investment accounting and reporting. Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge and experience accounting and reporting of various investment product available in the financial services industry like Equity , Debt, Manage Account, AIF, Mutual funds , Held away assets reporting etc. Experience working in Fund accounting and Bespoke reporting . Familiarity with financial software and tools as well as advanced excel skill. Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The right candidate will have an excellent command of the English language with strong written and verbal communication skills. This role is based in Mumbai.
