As a member of the Platform Services SRE team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of critical systems and platform delivered by GPS. Your role involves leading a team of engineers to implement robust monitoring and observability tools, automate routine processes, and develop a structured incident management process. You'll be responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, creating comprehensive documentation, and mentoring team members to build SRE skills and attitudes. By balancing innovation and reliability through error budgets and capacity planning, the lead ensures that the organization's services meet their service-level objectives and provide a seamless user experience.
