About the role:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer with 1 – 4 years of experience in Special Purpose Machines (SPM), you'll be responsible for creating innovative and efficient mechanical solutions tailored to unique industrial requirements. Your role will involve the conceptualization, design and development of specialized machinery to address specific manufacturing or process needs.

You are expected to do:

• Assist in the development of Mechanical designs for SPMs, ensuring they meet project objectives, specifications, and quality standards.
• Contribute ideas and insights to optimize mechanical designs based on feedback and performance data.
• Work closely with Team Leads, Project Managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure alignment of mechanical designs with project objectives and timelines.
• Communicate effectively to provide updates on design progress, challenges, and proposed solutions.
• Assist in maintaining comprehensive documentation of design iterations, specifications and test results.
  
  

Requirements

You will be a great fit if you have:

• 1-4 years of relevant work experience with Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in independently working on project deliverables from the base design stage to detailed designs.
• Have Excellent Knowledge on North American standards like ANSI/ASME Y 14.1
• Have Basic Knowledge of Mechanical GD&T.
• Experience in Consumer/Industrial product design and detailing.
• 3D CAD skills-Specifically SolidWorks or Inventor.
