Job Summary: Functions as a member of the health care team to assist the professional nurse in meeting the goal of individualized patient care by performing designated patient care activities. Performs additional acts that have been taught in present enrolled nursing curriculum. These additional skills must have been evaluated as competent to perform and be done under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:
High school diploma or GED required. Completion of first semester clinical (in a 2 year program) of an accredited school of nursing. Completion of freshman year (in a 4 year program) of an accredited school of nursing. BCLS is required.
