Role Description
- Generate banquet and event business through corporate clients, event planners, and social bookings (weddings, parties, conferences).
- Handle inquiries, understand client requirements, and provide customized event solutions based on budget and preferences.
- Conduct site visits and present banquet facilities to prospective clients.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts; follow up to convert leads into confirmed bookings.
- Coordinate with internal departments (F&B, kitchen, operations, housekeeping) for smooth event execution.
- Ensure all event details such as menu planning, seating arrangements, décor, and AV requirements are properly organized.
- Be present during events to ensure smooth operations and handle any last-minute requirements or concerns.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall banquet revenue.
- Upsell additional services and packages to maximize revenue.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Ensure timely collection of advance payments and coordinate with finance for billing and closures.
- Maintain records of inquiries, bookings, and conversions; submit regular sales reports.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Sales, Client Relationship Management, and Lead Generation
- Strong organizational, Negotiation, and Event Coordination skills
- Knowledge of Hospitality, Banquet Services, and Event Planning
- Excellent Communication and Presentation abilities
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and achieve sales targets
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in a banquet sales or hospitality sales role is an advantage
