Role Description
The Banquet Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Pernem. The role entails identifying and pursuing banquet sales opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and consistently achieving sales targets. Responsibilities include creating and presenting customized event proposals, coordinating with the operations team to ensure flawless execution, and addressing client needs to ensure satisfaction. The Banquet Sales Executive will represent the Orion Group of Hotels at networking events, manage inquiries, and keep records of sales activities and forecasts.
Qualifications
- Sales and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively close deals and achieve sales targets
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and networking abilities
- Event planning, organization, and coordination skills
- Marketing and client relationship management experience
- Proficiency in handling customer inquiries with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver exceptional service under pressure
- Experience in the hospitality industry or a related field is an advantage
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and MS Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related discipline
