Job Summary:
The Restaurant Captain is responsible for supervising the service team, ensuring smooth day-to-day restaurant operations, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. The role involves leading service staff, maintaining service standards, and coordinating between kitchen and service teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Supervision Leadership:
- Supervise and guide stewards, waiters, and service staff during shifts
- Conduct daily briefings and allocate duties
- Train new staff on service standards
- Monitor grooming and discipline of team members
- Guest Service Excellence:
- Welcome and interact with guests to ensure satisfaction
- Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly
- Ensure personalized service and up selling of menu items
- Maintain high standards of hospitality at all times
