Role Description
The Bancassurance Specialist will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with bank partners, driving business and revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, and promoting Edelweiss Life Insurance's product offerings. Key duties include client relationship management, providing training and support to bank staff, identifying customer needs, and offering tailored insurance solutions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Thrissur.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining excellent client and partner relationships
- Proficiency in sales techniques, negotiation, and objection handling
- Knowledge of insurance products, financial services, and banking operations
- Ability to identify customer needs and provide personalized insurance solutions
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and address client requirements
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and adaptability in a dynamic environment
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- Previous experience in banking, financial services, or insurance is an advantage
