Position Summary:
This position will specialize in working aspects, procedures and functions for and within the QC department. Adhering to all Baldor procedures and policies, Food safety SQF & personnel safety procedures, programs and policies.
*Essential Job Functions:
- •Must be able to Stand
- •Spend 90% of time walking
- •Must be able to work in a cold environment. Working in temp 35 – 40 degrees for at least - 8 hours a day.
- •Must be able to bend & kneel
- •Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- •Must always be presentable
- •Ability to communicate clearly
- •Must be organized
* Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties
- •To perform all duty functions assigned to be completed in the QC department in a timely and effective manner
- oInspecting fruits or vegetables based on USDA standards.
- oReport and communicate deficiencies Real time to all Parties Involved, Buyers, Receivers and Inventory Control on issues what’s coming in at the time of receiving.
- oCreate BIRR’s, PSI,
- •Adhere to all QC SOP’s
- •Give feed-back on all issues to QC supervisor
- oAlertQC Supervisor of any food safety or security issue’s
- •To follow all the Safety and Food Safety HACCP & Personnel Safety guidelines.
- oTo adhere to all HACCP & SQF standards set forth by Baldor
- oTo adhere to all Safety standards
- oReport any accidents and safety concerns to the supervisor
- •Keep an open communication with your supervisor to resolve any issues based on Inspection duties
- •Ensure tasks giving to be completed are completed in the time frame directed by supervisor
- •Any other responsibilities to be fulfilled as assigned by the company
Qualifications:
Education: High School or equivalent
Experience: None – will train
