Position Summary

The Warehouse Loader is responsible for accurately loading outbound delivery trucks with customer orders in a fast-paced food distribution environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring all products are loaded safely, correctly, and on time to support efficient delivery operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Load outbound delivery trucks according to assigned routes and delivery schedules
• Verify product quantities and ensure accuracy of all orders prior to loading
• Safely stack, wrap, and secure pallets to prevent damage during transport
• Inspect products for quality, damage, or discrepancies before loading
• Operate warehouse equipment such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
• Maintain proper product rotation (FIFO) and adhere to food safety standards
• Work in refrigerated, freezer, and ambient warehouse environments as needed
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, drivers, and warehouse team members
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
• Meet productivity standards and loading deadlines in a high-volume setting

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or loading experience preferred (food distribution a plus)
• Experience operating an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) strongly preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs and perform repetitive physical work
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Fast-paced warehouse setting with exposure to cold, refrigerated, and freezer conditions
• Physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, bending, and moving throughout the shift
• Use of warehouse equipment and adherence to strict safety protocols
