Web Design Intern

BalanX Bio is seeking a talented Product & UI/UX Design Intern to help shape the visual identity and digital experience of our AI-powered coffee ecosystem. The ideal candidate has strong skills in interface design, visual design, and prototyping, with experience creating intuitive, beautiful user experiences for mobile or web. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and marketing to design user flows, interfaces, and brand assets that feel cohesive, modern, and delightful. Key Responsibilities: 1. UI/UX Design & Prototyping • Design wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups for our mobile and web experiences (e.g., companion app, onboarding flows, dashboards). • Build interactive prototypes in tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD to communicate design ideas and user journeys. • Collaborate with product and engineering to ensure designs are feasible, responsive, and consistent across platforms. 2. Visual & Brand Design • Create graphics, icons, and visual assets that align with the BalanX Bio brand (for app UI, website, and marketing). • Help refine and maintain a design system (colors, typography, components, spacing, design tokens). • Support marketing with social media visuals, pitch deck slides, and simple illustrations when needed. 3. Research & Iteration • Contribute to lightweight user research (feedback sessions, usability reviews, A/B comparisons). • Iterate on designs based on stakeholder feedback, usability findings, and product goals. • Help document design decisions and create clear handoff specs for developers.
