ETP Operator

We are looking for a candidate who has the following qualifications and experience: - Minimum diploma in Chemical Engineering or relevant field - 1-2 years of experience in operating and maintaining Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) in a chemical manufacturing setup - Good understanding of water treatment processes, including primary, secondary and tertiary treatment - Ability to operate and monitor various equipment like pumps, blowers, clarifiers, filters, etc. - Proficient in maintaining log books, reports and other documentation related to ETP operations - Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency situations - Willingness to learn and implement new technologies Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor the ETP to ensure efficient treatment of effluents as per prescribed standards - Perform routine checks, inspections and maintenance of various ETP equipment - Analyze test results and take corrective actions to maintain desired water quality - Maintain log books, reports and other documentation related to ETP operations - Coordinate with other departments for smooth functioning of the ETP - Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations
