Company Description
The Coco Company, based in Delhi NCR, is a boutique patisserie specializing in creating premium snack boxes, buttercream cakes, and dessert hampers for celebrations, corporate events, and gifting. Known for artisanal baking, small-batch production, careful customization, and timely delivery, the company serves sectors including IT, Pharma, FMCG, and Hospitality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the daily production of breads, croissants, sourdough, biscuits and crackers to recipe and quality standards.
- Manage assigned bakery stations with reliability and attention to detail.
- Support and guide junior kitchen staff on tasks and techniques.
- Follow mise en place schedules to ensure smooth service and production flow.
- Maintain accurate portioning, shaping, proofing, and baking timelines.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI compliance).
- Monitor ingredient stock levels and communicate stocking needs.
- Assist in menu development and seasonal production as directed.
- Report equipment issues or quality concerns proactively.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a professional bakery or pâtisserie kitchen.
- Strong foundational knowledge of sourdough handling, fermentation, lamination, and baking science techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a station.
- A keen eye for quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Good team communication skills and a willingness to learn and teach other members in the team.
- Punctual and organized and ability to commute to Gurgaon.
- Diploma or certificate in Bakery & Confectionery / Culinary Arts preferred.
