Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position based in Shirur for a Bakery and Pastry Chef. The chef will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread, pastries, cookies, and other bakery products. Key tasks include measuring and mixing ingredients, decorating finished products, ensuring food quality and hygiene, and managing daily kitchen operations with a focus on efficiency and creativity. The individual will also assist in menu development and ensure recipes are consistently executed to maintain the highest standards of taste and presentation.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Bakery, Baking, and Food Preparation techniques
- Experience creating a variety of baked goods, including Cookies and Bread
- Attention to detail and a creative approach to pastry design and decoration
- Knowledge of food safety standards and a commitment to maintaining hygienic work environments
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Formal training in culinary arts, baking, or a related discipline is preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the kitchen staff effectively
