About the role

Category Planning and Activation Manager is responsible for developing and implementing category strategies to drive business growth. Key responsibilities include: Category Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy aligned with business objectives. Market Analysis: Conduct market research, consumer insights, and competitive analysis to drive growth and innovation. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (Sales, R&D, creative, and media agencies) to increase brand awareness and market share. New Product Development: Identify and develop new product opportunities with R&D. Channel-Specific Plans: Create growth and communication plans for specific channels. Asset Development: Develop point-of-sale materials, visibility, and merchandise. Market and Competitor Analysis: Analyze market and competitor trends to identify business opportunities. Consumer and Shopper Insights: Understand consumer and shopper behavior to identify trends. Category forecast & planning: Actively engage with sales team & supply chain in forecast planning of active, slow moving, phased out lines for the category.
