POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION: ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Candidate must be able to apply sound and diverse knowledge of administrative principles and practices in a broad array of accounting and administrative assignments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Processes AP vendor invoices and statement reconciliations
• Resolves billing issues with consultants and vendors
• Issues monthly consultant billing authorizations, and acts as a backup for issuing work authorizations
• Collect, input, and maintain new vendor/firm information
• Distributes, and processes expense reports
• Prepares client pay applications, and submits to client for approval
• Resolves billing issues with the clients, including some collections
• Issues monthly reports
• Additional accounting & administrative duties are required
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
• Associate’s degree or higher or in the process of obtaining a degree
• Accounting, AP, AR background or education is a plus
EXPERIENCE:
• This is an entry level position and requires some office experience
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint (or Vision) is a plus
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Strong computer proficiency, specifically with Excel
• Good planning and organizational skills; problem solving skills; decision making skills
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of team
