Job Description
We are seeking a high-performing Team Leader with specialized experience in Support Equipment (SE) and Joint Structural Repair Development (JSRD) technical authoring. The successful candidate will make critical contributions to the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program by supervising a team of technical professionals and directly authoring data modules for F-35 Lightning II systems and subsystems. This role balances technical expertise in JSRD data development with personnel management and program oversight to ensure all contractual obligations are met with accuracy and timeliness.Primary ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Personnel Management- Supervise a team of technical authors, overseeing initial hiring, orientation, training, and daily work assignments.
- Schedule and assign technical data modules to team members based on priority and expertise.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to ensure the professional growth of the authoring team.
Technical Authoring & Peer Review- Author and develop SE and JSRD data modules for F-35 systems and subsystems.
- Perform peer reviews and edit technical data to ensure adherence to program standards.
- Review and process Action Requests and Joint Technical Data (JTD) change requests.
- Provide subject matter expertise specifically in JSRD data development.
Program Support & Integration- Coordinate and integrate efforts with internal team partners and external customers.
- Support auxiliary functions including technical publications, document control, database management, and scheduling of priority data sets.
- Assist upper management in identifying new business opportunities and defining program requirements.
- Ensure all JSRD and SE contractual obligations are completed thoroughly and on schedule.
